Visual Flight Planning

To open the Visual Flight Planning, click Visual Flight Planning in the menu bar.

You can also open Visual Flight Planning from the FPL Flight Plan Message form (refer to Create FPL).

You can use the Visual Flight Planning to

• plan and view routes on the map.
• view restricted areas and that affect your route.
• import the route to the FPL form.

The right side of the page shows a map. For details refer to Map.

The left side of the page shows the route plan.For details refer to Route Plan.

To plan a route:

1.

Add points to the route. You can

• click a point on the map and select the point you want to add to the route.
• user the field Enter point or coordinate (Lat/Lon) to add points (refer to Route Plan).

The map and the route plan show the route.

2.

Click Rest. Areas to see restricted areas that your route intersects.

3.

Click Route to FPL.

The route is added to the FPL form (refer to Create FPL).
